Make User Feel Comfortable - [做事方法]
When I walked inside PKU, I feel comfortable.
Becasue along the path, there are high-green trees guarding me on both sides.
It reminds me on my class of architechture design, the professor emphasize the height of a hall affect the emotional feeling of people working in the building.
Comfortable coms from "Open", "Stable", "Feeling of safety"
Rule number one, make user feel "unlimit".
Second, be aware of the "privacy".
Finally, communicate with users, tell them you care them so much. -

Google Map的野心 - [个人观点]
Google非常可怕,大部分做互联网的创业公司都会被问到“如果Google做你们一样的东西,怎么办?”
其实 Google Map 比 Google 更可怕。
Google的核心竞争力是它的Data,在国内还有比他Data更全的Baidu
因为他们的Data都是“爬虫”爬出来的,只要有足够好的算法和足够好的机器,是有望能追赶上的。

新兴的营销模式悄然产生,姑且称为“美女回访营效法”。
挂个美女头,到处“踩”别人的空间,留下足迹,一张照片吸引别人回访,然后就守株待兔的做你的营销吧,更绝的是有些人装“美女”还有特专业,一些上当的人还会有“用户忠诚度”和“用户使用粘度”。

Position is Important - [思维方式]
记得《The Apprentice》第一季第一战的主题就是“Position is Important”
当时他们卖柠檬汁,结果虽然男队非常努力,虽然女队因为不团结出了很多毛病,最后还是女队赢了。那天跟我老婆去西湖边“一茶一坐”,我想起了一篇关于“一茶一坐”吸引了5000万的风险投资的报道。当时我才明白为什么一个餐饮业的投资比IT业多这么多。当时粗略估计了一下那家“一茶一坐”,大概一年能够赢利600万,没有任何广告投入,大概所有的钱都砸在买position上面了,估计1000万到2000万左右,也就2~3年回本了。
那天跟Steve在外滩3号的7楼望江阁吃饭,等比例估算那里一年赢利2000万左右,即使初期投资到6000万,也是3年就回本了。
而且这些生意的核心竞争力就是“Position”,几乎不需要投入任何宣传,要说到服务和产品质量上面,其实只能算中上水平。

每天早上第一件处理的事情是什么? - [做事方法]
张RuiMin:“每天早上,看到秘书报上来的各种事务,第一件处理的事情应该是什么?”
选手:“公司business最urgent的,和资金流最相关的。”
张:“应该是你发现被第二次报上来的问题,这种问题,证明你的团队在不断的犯同样的错误,这个事务不仅反映业务上的问题,更反映了“人”的问题,一个企业如果允许犯同样的错误,这个企业永远也无法做大。”
(好的团队文化应该是,每个人,在处理每个问题的时候,不能以“交差”的心态做事,要有一次性解决的意识,不拖拉,不留手尾,不留隐患,略带点“完美主义”的偏执) -

Leadership - [做事方法]
There are 3 levels of Leadership, they should be in right sequence, but people often inverse them.
1.Lead by Example:
The first stage when you join a team, you should earn trust from your team mates, setting up a good example by yourself is the best way. Make yourself reliable , creditable. Remember, no trust, no lead.2.Lead by Others:
Delegate work to your team mates. You shuold know well about every one, trust him after you assign a job to anyone. Don't left behind your team working without any guide, you should help them grow strong enough to work independently. Help everyone build their own leadership.3.Lead by Vision:
Strong as you are, the team can work perfectly without your help anymore. The only reason they follow you, is that you can bring them a clear vision, bright future and exciting life. -

4 Ps of Presentations - [沟通技巧]
- Prepare. You might not need a word-for-word script, but prepare something. Make sure your story is compelling, entertaining and worth listening to.
- Practice. You need to practice. Even veteran presenters practice. Make sure you at least read it out loud a few times to develop a good rhythm.
- Pronunciate. You need to speak clearly. There’s no room for mumbling in a presentation. Let me toss another P in there - Project. Speak clearly and firmly to get your point across.
- Participate. You should always try to engage your audience. The sooner they feel like they’re part of what you’re doing, the better.
